Urgent – urgent – urgent

We need a course setter for the Mandurang event on 11th April — please.

Course Setters and Helpers Needed:

Thank you to all our great volunteers who have taken on a course setting or event helper role for 2015. The event calendar is available here for club members to nominate as course setters and event helpers, there are still a few gaps that need filling, please consider. Most urgent are 11th April Mandurang (course setter), 25th April La Trobe Sprint (course setter/helper), 2nd May Castlemaine (helper), 23rd May Fiddlers Green (course setter/helper)

Membership Details:

Club members please remember to update your contact details in Eventor if these change. It is important for us to contact you from time to time, so please make sure we have your correct contact details including at least one phone number (mobile or landline) and a correct email address.

Golden Sandshoe. Congratulations to Jack Wigney who took out the Golden Sandshoe trophy for 2015. Congrats are also in order to Glenn James placed second after a count back from Henry Cameron. Good to see our JSquad people starting the season with good performances!

Coming Events. Saturday 28 March

Map: Newer St. Mungo.

Organisers and Course Setters: Daryl Fleay and Jason Carter.

Start: 12.30 to 2.00 pm

Format: Bendigo Bush Classic – five courses: 1 difficult, 2 shorter difficult; 3 shorter still, difficult; 4 Moderate and 5: easy.

Directions: From Bendigo At the Fountain travel roughly west up View Street and thence along Eaglehawk Road and through Long Gully. Before reaching California Gully, turn left into Taylor Street. Travel for 500 metres then turn right into Rose Street. The assembly area is at the children’s playground in Rose Street

From Castlemaine: Travel on the Calder to the Bendigo Fountain, then for Bendigo as above.
